Palbit introduce una nueva fresa de planeado que proporciona importantes ahorros de costes a los usuarios. La nueva fresa a 45° grados PLUS 91245 acepta tanto la plaquita cuadrada de doble cara (SNHX) y también la plaquita octogonal (ONHX) que reduce sustancialmente los costos y, al mismo tiempo, aumenta la productividad de uso general para fresado de desbaste. El hecho de que las fresas se montan en dos tipos de insertos reduce la inversión en herramientas por nuestros clientes mientras aumenta su flexibilidad de uso en diferentes operaciones y materiales.

La eficiencia de costes se destaca con los insertos octogonales. La línea PLUS 91245 reduce significativamente el coste por filo por tener 16 filos de corte para usos hasta 3,5 mm de profundidad de corte. Los insertos cuadrados ofrecen un corte muy suave con 8 filos de corte por plaquita aplicando hasta 8,5 mm de profundidad de corte al mismo tiempo que proporciona un muy buen acabado superficial. Los insertos están disponibles tanto en recubrimientos PVD y en el nuevo MT-CVD para extender la vida útil al mismo tiempo que aumenta la resistencia de choque.

Las nuevas fresas de la línea PLUS 91245 están disponibles como solución estándar en una gama de diámetros de 63 a 250 mm, pero la construcción como especiales podemos suministrar hasta 500 mm.

General face milling solutions

Palbit introduces a new face mill that provides substantial cost savings to manufacturers. The new 45° PLUS 912 cutter accepts both double-sided square and octagon inserts that substantially reduces costs while at the same time increases productivity in general purpose to rough milling. The fact that the cutters mount both types of inserts reduce the tooling investment by our customers while at the same time increases their flexibility of usage in different operations and materials.

Cost efficiency is highlighted with the PLUS 912 octagon inserts. The line PLUS 912 significantly reduces the cost per cutting edge by having 16 cutting edges for uses up to 3.5 mm depth of cut. Square inserts offer a very smooth cut with 8 cutting edges per insert applying up to 8.5 mm depth of cut while providing an extremely good surface finish. The inserts are available both in PVD and new MT-CVD coatings grades to extend tool life while increasing shock resistance.

The new PLUS 912 cutters are available as standard solution in a diameter range of 63 to 250 mm but as special construction we can supply up to 500mm.
